Welcome to Antix Press!

A little about us, well… us as in two guys toiling away in a warehouse in Chatsworth, California.

One week, when the San Fernando Valley heat was smacking our brains around with 115-Fahrenheit salvos, we had a heat-induced collective hallucination starring a blood red orange polka-dotted walrus/ant thing (Where do you think we got the ant idea?).

The ant-thing gave us the bright idea to make comics — actually, the first thing it really wanted us to do was direct movies, but that’s a whole other story which the lawyers refuse to clear.

So comics… Ant-thing didn’t want just any kind of comic book; it wanted us to emphasize the COMIC in comic book. And who are we to argue with a figment of our imagination?

So far we’ve culled together…

DR. GRAVE, created by Mister Triple-Threat himself, Ed Clayton. Some of you might have known him as Edvis from back in the day when he was too scared to poke his noggin out of his cave. Now Ed is back spinning new Dr. Grave tales.

BLACK MARKET, is where we get a tad dramatic. Jeremy “Madman” Madden is the puppet masters of this world. It is a well-researched dark comedy about the life of folks living on the fringe. Along with being a dark comedy, the series addresses the American dream of freedom and the perception the folks who break the law every day they go to work, have of that dream.
